Materials
1 old picture frame
chicken wire*
wire cutters
heavy duty staple gun w/ staples
assortment of small dried or silk flowers & leaves
1 bar picture hook
4 1/4" wide domed wooden disks
acrylic paint - 2 contrasting colors**
Quik Crackle
Modge Podge or spray sealer
brush
hot glue gun
small hammer

*measuring 1" bigger all the way around than the inside of your frame

**Your first coat of paint, which is your base coat, will only show through the cracks. The second coat of contrasting paint is the one which will crackle and be your main color.

Directions

1. Apply a base coat of desired acrylic paint and let dry.

2. Brush an even coat of Quik Crackle over your base paint and let dry 20 minutes to 1-hour. Wash your brush immediately.

3. Brush on your contrasting color.  It will crackle in seconds. Let dry completely before sealing with Modge Podge or a spray on sealer.

4. Cut chicken wire so that it extends 1" beyond the frame's opening on all sides. Staple the chicken wire to the back of the frame, stapling every 2-3".

5. Attach the hook to the center top of the frame with a small hammer.

6. On the back of the frame, use a hot glue gun to attach a domed wooden disk to each corner.

7. On the frame's front, arrange a variety of dried or silk flowers and greenery on two opposite corners. Note that in the example, the arrangement extends further in each direction on the bottom corner.

8. Hang and enjoy!
