unfolds before your very eyes"

"I woke up one morning thinking how funny it would be if absolutely everything went amuck at teatime. What if you hired a speaker and she came prepared to talk about a completely different topic? What if a guest arrived who was not quite "teatime material"? Of course, that lead me to....what if someone was conveniently "gotten rid of" during afternoon tea?"

Laurie Nienhaus, Founder of The Ladies’ Tea Guild
& author of A Teatime Travesty.

Play Synopsis
It's opening day at the Lily Pond Tearoom and society hostess Lydia Sunnybrook has invited a guest speaker, the reclusive horticulturist Fern Well. However, Miss Well - who is a fashion disaster - arrives prepared to speak on a most unexpected topic. An old rival of Fern's also makes an appearance - bringing her love sick daughter
with her. As if the day could go
any further amuck, Mellicent
Layton has high hopes of taking charge from Lydia before the day
is out. The stage is set for comedy, mishap and ....murder.

Monica Del La Torre as Mellicent Layton
Kristen Sabo as Lydia Sunnybrook
